Join Ms. Morgan in exploring the great outdoors. Children will be the leaders as they join together with friends to create their own fun. Richard Louv, author of the popular book Last Child in the Woods brought together a new and growing body of research indicating that direct exposure to nature is essential for healthy childhood development and for the physical and emotional health of children (and adults).  Louv recommends providing children with prolonged exposure to unstructured outdoor play, where children are required to use their imagination, interact with nature, and exercise their bodies. Through careful supervision, Ms. Morgan will lead children through the great outdoors as they follow animal tracks through the Hawken woods, build forts, collect fall leaves, and play. The possibilities for outdoor fun are endless.
