MS, US girls compete in figure skating competition

Four Hawken Middle and Upper School girls recently competed in the Ohio High School Team Figure Skating Competition and placed first in four of a total of six individual events. Read below for all of their standings. Low Manuever Teams Hawken Team, 3rd Novice Ladies Short Program Melissa Petersilge (Junior), 1st Pre-Juvenile Compulsory Moves Sydney Costantini (Sixth grade), 1st Pre-Juvenile Free Skating Sydney Costantini (Sixth grade), 1st Preliminary Compulsory Moves Laura Young (Sixth grade), 5th Julia Kaesberg (Freshman), 6th Preliminary Free Skating Laura Young (Sixth grade), 6th Preliminary Showcase Julia Kaesberg (Freshman), 1st High school teams were allowed to recruit middle school students from \"feeder\" middle schools to compete in the event as well.
