Julianna Pollard '22
Most say, as the point guard goes, the team goes. Julianna Pollard '22, varsity starting point guard has had a great week for the Girls Basketball team! She has averaged 10 pts/g, 4 reb/g, 4 ast/g and 2.5 stl/g.The team is currently riding an 8 game win streak and they had a big CVC win over rivals West Geauga. Coach Murray states, "Julianna had two strong performances last week, leading our team to big wins over Harvey and West Geauga. As our point guard, she catalyzes our offense and makes sure everyone is on the same page defensively. It is impossible to fully capture what her leadership means to our team."

Favorite Hawken Athletic Memory: My favorite athletic memory was this season when we beat West G because we worked so hard in practice all week and played as a unit to beat a very good team.
What does Hawken Athletics mean to me?: Hawken athletics has provided me opportunities to greatly succeed athletically but also has taught me how to effectively work with a team.
