Girls Basketball Travels to Florida
Over winter break, the Hawken Girls Basketball team traveled down to Orlando, Florida to participate in the KSA Holiday Tournament. During the 4-day tournament, Hawken competed against teams from Pennsylvania, New York, Kentucky, and Oklahoma. Between JV and Varsity, Hawken finished the tournament with an overall record of 3-3. This trip was an incredible opportunity for our players to interact and compete against players from across the country and bond with their teammates in a way that is unique to group travel. We are beyond grateful for everyone who helped make this experience possible, as it was the culmination of an eight month fundraising effort. Overall, this tournament was a tremendous step for the development of our program, building memories for our players that will last well beyond their time at Hawken.
