8th Grade Lacrosse Players Chosen for All-Star Team

Six Hawken Middle School boys were chosen the Team North Coast, an all-star collection of the best 8th grade lacrosse players in northern Ohio. Nearly every middle school program north of Wooster was represented by the 57 boys present. Representing Hawken will be Nate Baker, Kent Green, Pat Horsburgh, Teddy Hook, Montreaux Rodgers and Matt Miller, all key members of first undefeated team in the history of Hawken Middle School lacrosse. Said coach Jim Scully, \"I am very proud to report our Hawken boys represented our program and the school in fine fashion. Pat was chosen as an alternate at attack. Montreaux and Teddy made the team at defense, and Matt made the team as a midfielder. Our cups runneth over.\" The team will be the only Ohio representative in a national U-15 event in Orlando, Florida in June. Coach Scully went on to say that \"[it has been] a great priviliege to be the head coach of this team.\" Scully has also been named as a coach for Team North Coast. Look for the results after after the competition in June.
