Girls 4x800m Relay, Jake Willen & Ally Markovich Qualify to State Track & Field Championship

The Girls Track Team 4x800m Relay team of Julia Bramante, Liz Bruml, Kerrin Sunshine and Ally Markovich finished 2nd and Ally Markovich finished second in the 1600m at the Regional Meet held in Tiffin.  At the Ravenna Regional, Jake Willen finished 4th on the 200m.  These finishes qualified the athletes to State Competition in Columbus on June 4th. As a team, in the 50 team field, the Girls Track Team finished in 12th place, while the Boys Track Team finished in 23rd place.

In other Boys Regional Competition - Jake Willen finished 6th in the 100m Dash(11.33) and Brian Vogt fininshed 5th in the 800m with a time of 1:56.08.  In Girls Regional Competition, Ezgi Cubukcu finished 7th in the 100m Dash, Kerrin Sunshine finished 6th in the 400m, the 4x200m Relay Team of Katie Wilson, Nya Braxton, Tracy Togba, Ezgi Cubukcu finished 6th and Ally Markovich was 6th in the 3200m.  

The Hawks were also represented by the following Regional Meet qualifiers; Matt Burn-Long Jump(14th), Ezgi Cubucku-200m(13th), Liz Bruml-800m(9th), Julia Bramante-800m(13th), Pole Vault(13th), Rachelle Brenner-1600m(13th), Rachel McKay-3200m(9th), 4x100m Relay of Erica Gliga, Ezgi Cubukcu, Nya Braxton, Tracy Togba(10th), 4x400m Relay of Julia Bramante, Erica Gliga, Ally Markovich, Kerrin Sunshine(9th), Katie Bond-Discus(15th), Katie Wilson-High Jump(9th).
