Two Seniors Nominated for Presidential Scholars Program

Congratulations to Hawken seniors Pranay Gupta and Kevin (Hongyu) Jin on being invited to apply for the prestigious Presidential Scholars Program.
Nominations are based on test scores, and nominated students are invited to submit an extensive application including essays and recommendations for consideration to be named as a scholar. If selected, scholars are invited to Washington, DC for celebrations and activities that culminate in a medal ceremony.
The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program was established in 1964 by executive order of the President to recognize and honor some of our nation's most distinguished graduating high school seniors. Each year, up to 161 students are named as Presidential Scholars, one of the nation's highest honors for high school students. To learn more about the program, click here.
