Nick Garcia- Whitko '24
Nick Garcia-Whitko '24 has been in the top 5 of North East Ohio Boys XC times for the whole season. His PR this season is 16:16.9 ran at the Mentor Cardinal Classic in September. This Saturday he finished 5th out of 300 runners in a race jammed packed with talented D1 athletes at the Woodridge Invite. The course is the 16th hardest cross country course in the nation located at the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
Coach Jessica states "Nick continues to strive to be the best he can be in cross country. He leads his team every weekend with determination to win. Nothing holds him back and he has the will to always improve. "
Currently, Nick is ranked 3rd for all D2 sophomore runners and 22nd for all of Ohio based on his time!
