Deena Akras '20 had a great last week in two great games for Volleyball. "Deena is absolutely fierce when she gets into a rhythm. This past week, she played both RS and MH for us in two tough matches. Her kills vs. Geneva kept us alive in our two tight sets that both ended 23-25. In our match vs. West G, she connected so well with our Oriana, our setter, and became instinctive at the net putting away 8 solo blocks that game. She brings a quiet energy to the floor and one that we’ll need in the coming week." states Coach Patty Hace.
