Girls Swimming Clinches 29th State Championship; Boys Place Second
Girls swimming once again won the state championship in convincing fashion at the state meet in Canton this past weekend.
It was the team's 21st consecutive state title and their 29th in program history. The boys finished as state runners-up, their fourth top-two finish in the last five years. Read the News-Herald article here and the Cleveland.com article here.
First place finishes include: Jessican Eden (200 MR and 400 FR); Maggie Mallett (400 FR); Tori Culotta (500 free); Ella Gilson (400 FR); Sydney Bare (200 MR); Abby Hay (200 MR, 200 IM, 400 FR); and Audrey Dietz (200 MR).
