Rick serves as chief financial officer at Olympic Steel, Inc. Prior to joining the Olympic Steel Inc. in 1994, Rick served as corporate controller for a publicly traded wholesale distribution company and was employed by a national accounting firm in its audit department.
Professionally, Rick is a member of the Board of Directors of the Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI). At Hawken, he serves as Chair of the Finance Committee of the Board. He is also a board member and treasurer with Make-A-Wish Foundation of Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana. Rick’s wife Polly is also an active volunteer at Hawken. They reside in Gates Mills and have two sons, Joe ’13 and Michael ’10.
