On Saturday, April 25th, Hawken School will join young people from around the world participating in Global Youth Service Day.

Middle and Upper School students will travel to the Cleveland Foodbank to sort and package food from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A Hawken bus will transport us to the Foodbank, leaving the Lyndhurst campus at 7:30 a.m., returning at 12:30 p.m. Please encourage your child(ren) to volunteer to be part of this exciting event. Lower School families have the opportunity to work with a representative from the Cleveland Botanical Garden at one of the Garden’s Urban Learning Gardens. A Hawken bus will transport us to the Garden worksite [actual location TBD], leaving the Lyndhurst campus at 7:30 a.m. and returning at noon. A snack will be provided.
