Patrick Reineke '22, was crowned Champion (106 lb) of the North Coast Classic at Independence. He went 8-0 with 4 pin falls, 2 technical falls, and a major decision in the finals. Coach Mark Jayne expressed, "Patrick Reineke earned the gold medal at the North Coast Classic at Independence by going 8-0 on the weekend. Reineke dominated his way through the bracket with 4 pins, 2 technical falls, and a major decision in the finals. He looked sharp out on the mat using a plethora of attacks and looks to continue his dominant ways throughout the season including next week at Waterloo."

Favorite Hawken Athletic Memory: Last years’ experience at the state tournament with the wrestling team. Not only the competition but the fun we had off of the mat as well. Especially the stink bomb in the elevator.
   
What does Hawken Athletics mean to me?: Hawken athletics means a lot to me, building friendships, on and off the practice mat, field, court etc. Improvement on team building, encouragement, and creating memories that last a life time.
