Scott M. Beatty ’77
EIR and Director of Business Development, Sundberg-Ferar
Scott is currently the EIR and Director of Business Development with Sundberg-Ferar, a 90-year young product innovation studio utilizing a human-centered design thinking approach for global projects in creative engineering, industrial design and innovation strategy. He also mentors for The European Institute of Innovation and Technology. During the past 30 years, Scott has built innovation labs and global innovation development platforms focusing on business development, global system challenges, product development, channel development, marketing, software engineering, and sales. He was the entrepreneur-in-residence with Food+Future coLAB at IDEO and the MIT Media Lab, Treedia Labs, and an angel investor in three wireless start-ups. He was also a founding partner in Information Please and founded ProCD. Scott and his wife Deborah reside in Swampscott, MA with their children, Grace and Tucker.
