Dominic Brancel '23
Dom Brancel '23, has started the year off well, providing a spark in every area of the game. He leads the team with a .429 average and 18 RBIs through the first 11 games. In recent CVC win over Orange, Dom pitched a Complete Game, 4 hitter, with 5 Ks and also drove in 5 runs with his bat, including an RBI double and a Grand Slam HR in the bottom of the 6th which provided some insurance for the Hawks.
In addition to his hitting and pitching, Dom has quickly established himself as one of the best catchers in the area. The combination of tireless work blocking pitches, quick feet and strong arm, on top of the ability to call a game has Hawk pitchers excited to see him behind the dish, now and for the next few years.
