Hawken Announces Partnership with Positive Coaching Alliance

One of the many benefits of the partnership will be workshops offering parents, students and coaches the opportunity to develop strategies and practices that "honor the game" as well as improve performance on the field.  

 

Our first workshop for parents, The Second-Goal Parent: Developing Winners in Life Through Sports, will be Monday, March 3rd, 6:30-7:45pm, in Kennedy Auditorium at Gates Mills.  It is open to all Hawken parents, Lower, Middle, and Upper School, and all participants will receive a copy of the new High School Sports Parenting book from PCA Executive Director Jim Thompson. Workshops for Hawken coaches and Upper School students-athletes will be offered March 3-4.
