Teacher Witnesses History in the Making

Upper School teacher Julie Agar traveled to Washington for a professional development trip and while there, was a witness to historic legislative decisions.
In DC for a Georgetown Supreme Court Institute program, Agar had the priviledge of hearing Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg read her opinions in two important decisions. She also attended a question and answer session with Justice Ginsburg. "What was most impressive about the justice is the fantastic legal mind that she has," Agar said, adding that she's excited to bring her experiences back to the courses she teaches.
