Kathleen A. Carr passed away on September 9, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

In 1972 Kathleen began her 31 year career at Hawken as the assistant in the Upper School Admission Office. Her voice was the first impression thousands of people had of Hawken School; thus earning her the title of “The Voice of Hawken.” Her ever present optimistic and cheerful nature made every member of the Hawken community feel special and welcomed.
