Hawks Advance to State Tournament Play
The Hawken Girls Lacrosse team defeated Olentangy HS 9-8 on Tuesday, advancing to the Region Championship game. Molly Liebeskind ’12 scored the game winner with just ten seconds remaining in the second overtime period. The Hawks host Chagrin Falls HS today, May 24, at 5:00pm for a chance to reach the State Final Four.
Congratulations to Hawken Boys Tennis players Dan Lubarsky ’12, Sid Ahuja ’14, and Dhruv Yadav ’14 who have all advanced to the OHSAA State Tennis Tournament in Columbus this Friday and Saturday. Dan and Sid were crowned District Champions in doubles, and thus advance to States as a #1 seed. Dhruv took 3rd place at Districts, and advances to States in the singles bracket.
