Two Juniors Named to Scholastic All-American Team

Hawken juniors Elizabeth Aronoff and Morgan Cohara were recently named to the Scholastic All-American Team of USA Swimming, the national governing body for the sport.  The team is comprised of high school athletes from across the country; to qualify for the honor, students must have a G.P.A. of 3.5 or above and must have swam at least one individual time that met or beat the historic qualifying US Junior National time standards.

Neither Aronoff nor Cohara are strangers to swimming accolades. Both have been place winners in the State of Ohio at the first two Division II state meets in which they have participated, and each earned All-American status as a member of a Hawken state champion or runner-up relay team (Aronoff on the 200 yard medley relay team and Cohara the 200 and 400 yard freestyle relays).
