Hawken Juniors Perform on Fox 8

Fresh on the heels of a brief appearance by a Middle Schooler on Fox 8`s \"That`s Life,\" two Hawken juniors were featured in performances on the same show one day later Ben Sala and Dylan Herts presented scenes from their educational drama troupe Expect Respect. They and junior Brian Zeilinger are a part of the current troupe to educate area youth, parents and educators of the issues of teen dating violence and bullying. The three also serve as Peer Trainers to help identify the teen outreach agenda and provide input into the curriculum and educational materials. Now in its sixth year, the Expect Respect drama troupe currently consists of 16 volunteer high school students from the Greater Cleveland area. The cast members are also trained in a number of areas regarding teen dating violence and provide training to educators on recognition of these issues in today`s youth.
