Hawken sophomore organizes forum for 90.3 WCPN
Aaron Kohn, a Hawken sophomore, helped organize an hour-long forum that was broadcasted on 90.3 WCPN`s The Sound of Ideas hosted by Dan Moulthrop on Thursday, December 7. The show was produced in conjunction with UNICEF`s International Children`s Day of Broadcasting (ICDB) and featured a panel of local teenagers that discussed the foremost issues facing young adults in the 21st century. Moulthrop and The Plain Dealer`s Regina Brett were the moderaters. ICDB, traditionally held each year on the second Sunday of December, will officially be celebrated this year on Sunday, December 10. It is a day when programming around the world turns its focus to children`s issues. What`s more, children play an integral role in producing the programming. ICDB is a collaborative initiative of UNICEF and the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Listen to WCPN`s broadcast here.
