CCIS Smart and Sober Program For Middle School Students

waskowitz
Smart & Sober is a 1-day event for all Middle School students, grades six through eight, who attend one of the ten participating Cleveland-Area Independent Schools. The purpose of the event is to educate and empower students to choose a healthy lifestyle free from alcohol, tobacco & other drugs. Volunteers from the Cleveland Council of Independent Schools (CCIS) are planning and organizing this event. During this day (May 15, 2006), students will be participating in grade-level gatherings at various schools during the morning (6th graders at Laurel, 7th graders at Hathaway Brown, and 8th graders at University School: all transportation to these sites will be provided by Hawken). During the afternoon, all students will then be bussed to the CSU Wolstein Center for a special Celebration Assembly. Students will then be bussed back to campus in time for dismissal/sports. Stay tuned to this website for more information about this exciting event. For more information, please visit the CCIS website by clicking on the following link: CCIS Smart and Sober Program.
