Freshman Featured in New Television Venture
On Saturday, February 18th, NBC Channel 3 WKYC aired a new show that involved Hawken freshman Aaron Kohn. Tim White, one of WKYC`s anchors, and Sam Fulwood of the Cleveland Plain Dealer put together Cleveland Cafe, a 30-minute show that was broadcast between the NBC Evening News and Olympic coverage. The goal of the show is to give people in the Cleveland community a chance to express their opinions and ideas. The pilot episode featured six Clevelanders, including parent Lolita McDavid. Aaron was the only student. \"I thought it was a great experience,\" said Aaron.
