School Starts with Record Enrollment
Hawken is excited to welcome a record breaking 984 students for the 2013-2014 school year.
Increases in enrollment were seen on both campuses, and additional faculty were hired to maintain Hawken's low student-teacher ratio.
Hawken's new Lower School expansion enabled the School to house a 3rd section of kindergarten. Extra classroom space was also created in existing buildings on the Gates Mills campus over the summer.
This is the third straight year that student enrollment at Hawken has increased. In a challenging economic landscape, the increased enrollment is a sign of the health of the School and faith in the quality education it delivers.
