MS promotees encouraged to use `the force`

Middle School Director Bill Waskowitz bid a farewell to both Hawken`s eighth-graders and Hawken School as he delivered the Middle School Closing Ceremony`s address, where he challenged the students to continue to use the confidence they`d developed during their years at Hawken to help them face the challenging days ahead. It was Waskowitz`s last Hawken ceremony as director, a post he`s held for the past six years. He will soon take over the reigns of Graland Country Day School in Denver, Colorado as its new Head of School.
