Beth Davis `96 Receives Doctorate Degree

Congratulations go to Beth Davis `96 on receiving a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Kansas in Lawrence. She has accepted a tenure track faculty position with the Science Institute of Columbia College Chicago and began teaching biology this fall. Beth Davis received a Bachelor of Arts with honors in biology from the University of Chicago in 2000. She also studied at the University of Washington`s Friday Harbor Laboratory, Stanford University`s Hopkins Research Station at Monterey Bay, the University of Wollongong, Australia, and the University of Michigan Field Station. Besides publishing in scientific journals, Beth has presented workshops at many conferences and received several grants. Her parents Richard and Ellen Carsone Davis still reside in Gates Mills.
