12 Seniors Named National Merit Semi-Finalists
Congratulations to the Hawken seniors named 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalists!
We’re proud to celebrate these 12 exceptional students from both our Gates Mills campus and the Mastery School of Hawken (MSH): Jonas Baird (MSH), Nihal Gummadala, Brian Gunzler, Audrianna Honda, Liyang Hu, Vaughn Keare, Giles Killpack (MSH), Ian Krouse, Arash Mahipal, Neelan Subhas, Ava Suri, and Anne Taich.
Representing less than 1% of high school seniors nationwide, National Merit Semifinalists are among the highest-scoring Preliminary SAT test-takers in their state. We’re thrilled to recognize these students for this outstanding achievement, and we look forward to celebrating Hawken’s Commended Scholars, who will be announced later this week. Finalists in the program will be notified in February 2027.
