Step 4: Testing
Applicants to Hawken Lower School will be administered age-appropriate standardized tests and evaluations as part of the admission process.
The Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) is required for all students applying to grades 5 through 12. Applicants may register online for the test at https://admission.erblearn.org/ Please note that the deadline to register for the ISEE is three weeks prior to testing dates. The test administration fee is $100. For students entering grades 11 and 12, the PSAT or SAT I is acceptable, if taken in the current school year.
