Hawken School is proud to announce the induction of 26 members of the Class of 2020 into the National Cum Laude Society.

Membership in the Cum Laude Society acknowledges a student’s strong academic performance and intellectual achievement as well as demonstration of good character, honor, and integrity in all aspects of school life. The founders of the society, founded in 1906, modeled Cum Laude after Phi Beta Kappa, and in the years since its founding, Cum Laude has grown to 382 chapters throughout the United States, Canada, England, France, Spain, Puerto Rico, and the Philippines. Guided by the motto, Areté, Diké, Timé  (Excellence, Justice, Honor), membership is both an honor and a charge to members to continue to use their talents to search for greater understanding of the world in which we live.

Their distinguished achievement at Hawken School has granted the following students in the Class of 2020 membership in the Cum Laude Society.
