Teacher Launches Garlic Company
Despite being busy with teaching and coaching responsibilities at Hawken, Wes Wilson '01 somehow finds the time to run his own company - and raise a family!
His newly branded company, Minced Market, uses all Ohio grown garlic to create gourmet garlic products for local home chefs to enjoy in their kitchens.
"We began our journey one summer when we partnered with a farmer who was beginning his retirement and planned on not replanting," says Wes. "By the fall, we took over the garlic operations and began thinking of ways to spice things up. Out of a love and passion for cooking, we created a variety of garlic products for home cooks to enjoy."
While Minced Market no longer grows their own garlic, they continue to use only ecologically grown Ohio garlic that meets quality standards. Learn more at mincedmarket.com.
