Erica Rose '00 to be Inducted in Cleveland Hall of Fame

Congratulations to 2000 graduate Erica Rose, one of seven to be named to the 2014 Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame.

Erica has been a dominant figure in open water marathon swimming. In 1998, at the age of 15, she was a world champion in the 5k. She is also a 10-time Open Water National Champion who owns four Pan American gold medals.

Erica won several individual and state titles while at Hawken and went on to swim for Northwestern. She is currently working toward a dual degree in business administration (MBA) and public health (MBA) at the University of Michigan.

Erica will be inducted into the Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame at a dinner on September 18. Other inductees in the Class of 2014 are Indians owner Larry Dolan, former Browns receiver Joe Jurevicius, basketball coach Bob Beutel, Cleveland State swim coach Wally Morton, martial arts expert A.J.
