Hustle, Hustle, Hustle

Coach Hace places top priority on developing each player as a whole person and providing a supportive environment in order to do so. Each player, in turn, takes pride in participating in such a program. She must be dedicated to her teammates, coaches, and the tradition of competition. As a team, we share in victories and defeats. Energy and enthusiasm in practices and games are key factors in a successful season. Without them, the game loses its flavor, and we lose our fuel.

Hawken Volleyball players live by the following values:

Punctuality: "Early is on time…On time is late."

Positive Attitude: I will maintain a positive attitude at all times. Positive energy is our fuel.

Commitment: I will commit my time for personal development and to enhance this program.

Communication: I will respect all coaches, captains, players, officials, parents, and other personnel.

T.E.A.M.: "Together Everyone Achieves More."

Performance: "Hustle…Hustle….Hustle." When I report on the floor, it is presumed by the coaching staff that I am prepared to make the necessary personal and physical sacrifices.

Attire: Being prepared and focused is imperative; look like a team, feel like a team.

Academics: I am first and foremost a student-athlete.
