Registration for the 2022-2023 school year will open in early June and be due in early August.

Other Important Documents

End of Year School Transcript Release
Students who are new to Hawken Upper School should submit this form to their previous schools so that we receive the final transcript. For most students, this transcript will be required before students can attend classes in the fall.
Work Permit Application
Complete the top half yourself, and have your employer complete the bottom, then scan/photo the application and e-mail it to dgill@hawken.edu. He will return a PDF of the actual permit by e-mail, which you can then print, sign, and submit.

Due to vacation schedules, permits will not be processed July 1-8 and July 15-22.

Summer Office Hours are 8:30 to 3:30, Monday to Thursday, and 8:30 to 12:30 on Friday. Hours run June 12 through August 4. Offices closed on June 19 and July 4.

Hawken Summer Math Packet Philosophy

Summer math packets are undergoing a transition for 2022-2023.

In the Middle School, math packets will be required for the courses listed below and are available now.

In the Upper School, math packets will be required only for AP Calculus BC and Linear Algebra and will be posted on July 29, so you can complete them closer to the start of school.

Athletics Information

All practices beginning on July 31 should be considered mandatory to remain in good standing on a team. Other summer dates are encouraged; it is strongly recommended you communicate with team coaches regarding attendance at June and July sessions.

Pre-season Meeting for Parents and Student-Athletes - Wednesday, August 2, 7:00-8:00 PM in the Kennedy Auditorium (tentative). At least one parent is required to attend this meeting per Hawken participation policy and OHSAA rules.
Alumni Sports Day - Saturday, August 12 (tentative). All teams will have practice or scrimmage on campus at 11:00AM, except boys soccer (1:00PM) and football (4:00PM). There will be no golf.
