Drew, recently was named as the inaugural Cleveland Jewish News-Buffalo Wild Wings Warrensville Heights Player of the Week for the fall 2018 season. Drew was the medalist vs Perry at Madison CC, shooting a 1 over par 36 in a Hawken win 165-185. He has been the medalist (top score golfer in match) in 6 of 9 matches for Hawken. Drew shot a 79 for 8th place in the Kiely Cup at Canterbury CC. He leads the Hawken Boys’ Golf team, 8-1 (5-1 CVC) with a 38.6 nine-hole average. Coach Bert Kovarik states of Covitt, “Drew has worked very hard to improve his game. He is one the longest hitters in the CVC. This is his 3rd year as a varsity player at Hawken. His goal and the teams goal is to get to state this year.”
