Members of the Classes of ’22 and ’25 “Move Up"
Congratulations to members of the Class of '22! They bid farewell to the Lyndhurst campus at a moving up ceremony on June 1. Special congratulations go to Makayla White, recipient of the Muriel Bell Award, which honors the one peer who embodies the highest levels of character and represents the best of Hawken's principles.
Fifth grade students closed the chapter on their time in the Lower School with their own moving up ceremony. Following the event, the Class of 2025 walked the halls of the Lower School and were “clapped out” by faculty and students. Special congratulations go to fourth grade students Sonia Loshakov, who was awarded the LaVelle Pelton Esgar Award for exemplifying the true spirit of the Hawken motto of “Fair Play” and Asher Kimball, recipient of the Mildred Smith Award, for best exemplifying unfailing integrity under all circumstances, dedication to doing his best at all times, and unselfish willingness to help others.
