THE POSITION
Hawken School is seeking a Head Middle School Cross Country for the 2025 Fall season. This coach will work in conjunction with the varsity coaching staff and program to create a dynamic and collaborative training and competition program.
THE ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidates should be dynamic, energetic, motivated, positive and willing to commit the required time

Practices are expected, at minimum, four (4) days per week, Monday–Thursday; Friday practices may be optional and depend upon the weekend competition schedule

Practices will take place on Hawken’s Gates Mills Campus from 3:30–5 p.m.

Competition dates will be primarily meets/invitationals on Saturdays, but may include some weekday events in place of practice

THE SCHOOL
Founded on the ideal that “the better self shall prevail and each generation introduce its successor to a higher plane of life,” Hawken School is a coeducational independent day school with 1,600 students in toddler through grade 12. Our four campuses are located within 25 minutes of downtown Cleveland, and an urban extension center in the city’s museum district provides a demanding and integrated course of study in a diverse and dynamic environment.
