Carleton College Summer at Carleton Northfield, MN Depends on program Depends on program There are several programs going on at Carleton including the Summer Writing Program (learn to write effective essays), Liberal Arts Experience, Environmental Science and College Horizons which is a five- day crash course to prepare Native American students for college. Case Western Reserve University Pre-College Program Cleveland, OH July 8-27 Depends on the program Equinox is for rising juniors and seniors and will allow the students to take courses such as Engineering Concepts, Intro to Computer Game Design and Robotics. The spectrum program is for rising freshman and sophmores and will allow gifted students students to gain exposure to and develop critical thinking skills with honors-level courses. High school students who meet the prerequisites. There are no classes specifically for high school students This is a regular summer session where college credits can be earned. Each three week session is one block and earns 4 credit hours. Only one subject is taught per block, but three blocks are available so a student could take three subjects during the course of the summer.
