A national leader in early childhood education, Hawken conducts an Early Childhood Teacher Training Institute each summer. The purpose of the four-day series of workshops is to offer opportunities to strengthen developmental understanding of the young child and to support teachers’ growth as educators.
The teacher training institute features nationally renowned presenters, workshops are Step-up-to-Quality approved, and participants attending all four workshops receive a total of 20 in-service hours. This year's institute will be held July 29-August 1, 2013. Workshops and presenters include:
