Summer provides an outstanding opportunity for students at Hawken - they can hone their archery skills, visit the Cleveland Museum of Art, learn to play a new sport, or improve their academic studies. Hawken summer programs include the day camp; sports camp; summer studies program; and the passport program.
Hawken Day Camps, established in 1929, provide some of the best summer enrichment opportunities in Greater Cleveland. Offerings include Day Camps, Boys Sports Camp, Girls Lifetime Adventure Camp, and Hawklings Camp. Children are in a safe, nurturing environment and provided with daily hot lunches and optional transportation and pre- and after-care services.
Summer Passport Camps offer children unique week-long (full and half day) opportunities to explore, create, learn, and have fun. Offerings include Computer Camps, Camp Lego, Rock Band Camp, Science Camp, and Theater Camp. In addition to daily activities, day-long campers enjoy hot, well-balanced lunches.
Hawken Summer Studies is a six-week summer program of credit, review, preview and enrichment for students entering grades 6-12. Offerings include Reading, Writing, Math, and Health. Summer Studies is open to students from both public and private schools.
