Youth Forum on Racism to Air on C-SPAN
Phillip Hedayatnia '16, a member of the City Club's Youth Forum Council, gave the opening speech kicking off "A Conversation on Race," a forum at the City Club of Cleveland that will air Monday, at 8pm on C-SPAN.
The Youth Forum on Racism was comprised of a diverse panel, incuding Shakyra Diaz, a policy manager for the ACLU of Ohio; Andres Gonzalez, Chief of Police, Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority; Jonathan Gordon, CWRU Professor of Lawyering Skills; and Basheer Jones, a Cleveland motivational speaker, writer and poet.
The event was covered by C-SPAN, The Plain Dealer, and WVIZ-TV/WCPN-90.3FM.
