Tablets Expand Throughout the Middle School

Coach Holtrey To Be Inducted into ASCA Hall of Fame

08/11/2010 - Girls swim team coach Jerry Holtrey has been selected by the American Swimming Coaches Association as one of five inductees into the 2010 ASCA Coaches’ Hall of Fame. This year Coach Holtrey celebrated not only his 40th year of coaching at Hawken but his swim teams’ 20th state championship. He will be honored at the Hall of Fame presentation during the Annual Awards Banquet at the World Clinic on September 4 in Indianapolis. Read more from the News-Herald. >>

Three Hawks Finish First in Cleveland Triathlon Relay

08/10/2010 - Rising freshmen Aric Floyd, Mark Gori, and Henry Senkfor competed in the sprint group of the Cleveland Triathlon on Sunday, finishing first with a winning time of 1:18:14 and beating out all other relay competitors, including the men’s and women’s teams. Showing their school pride by naming their relay team “The Hawks,” Henry swam a half mile, Mark biked sixteen miles, and Aric ran the 5K.
