Having one school on two campuses provides each Hawken student a sense of place – a learning environment that is age-appropriate and tailored to his or her developmental needs.

 

Our Lyndhurst Campus provides a safe, nurturing atmosphere for our Lower School students. It allows our eighth graders to feel like they are stepping up to high school, while retaining their allegiance to Hawken – which may explain why we have among the highest retention rate for rising ninth graders in the country.

 

Once on our Gates Mills Campus, our Upper School students experience an open, college-like environment that prepares them for their next step.

 

Hawken’s urban extension campus in University Circle, The Gries Center for Experiential and Service Learning provides Lower, Middle and Upper School students real-world experiences.
