1988 O.J. McDuffie Thomas Bryan Ben Davis, O.J. McDuffie 23-3 The team advanced farther than any other team in Hawken history--the Regional Finals. Despite only 2 starters over 6 feet tall, the Hawks still defeated US and other rivals; "AA" Sectional Champs and District Champs.
1987 Ivan Tyus Thomas Bryan Ivan Tyus, Tony Smith 18-4 After 3 early losses, the hawks had a 17 game winning streak, including wins over University School and Western Reserve Academy. Finished 12th in AP pole at the end of the year
1986 Maurice Gray Thomas Bryan Kevin Slesh, Maurice Gray, Ted Bryan 20-0 regular season. 25-1 overall "AA" Sectional and District Champions; Tedric Bryan: School Record 151 Steals; Maurice Gray School Record 653 Points; Maurice Gray Player of the Year for class AA Ohio (Averaged 25 points per game); Best school win record. Ted Bryan sets the school records with 151 steals in a season, and 343 in his career. 25-1 overall, best record in team history.

1983 Brad Bryan Thomas Bryan Brad Bryan, Greg Green 19-5 District Champions for the first time in the School's History. "A" Sectional champions for the 4th straight year. Brad Bryan was named 1st team "All-prep" squad, and second "All-Northeast Ohio." Brad Bryan sets the school record with 222 assists in a season.
1982 Stephen Phillips Thomas Bryan Steve Phillips, Eric Hamilton 18-5 "A" Sectional Champs (for the third straight year). Stephen Philips was player of the year in the district and 1st team All-State. Eric Hamilton was All District and Honorable mention All-State
1981 Juan Antunez Thomas Bryan Juan Antunez, Eric Hamilton 20-3 "A" Sectional Champs
1980 Mark Kalina Thomas Bryan Mark Kalina 18-5 "A" Sectional Champions. They defeated rivals US and Beachwood in the same week

1976 Dwayne Maynard Thomas Bryan Dwayne Maynard, Bill Talley 19-2 Hawken Routes University School 67-48; Over the season, "Dwanks" did the passing (203 assists) and "Talls" did the scoring (457 points) (Dwayne Maynard and Bill Talley respectively); "A" Sectional Champs. Dwayne Maynard sets the school record with 484 assists in his career
1975 Brian Landsman Thomas Bryan Dwayne Maynard, Jim Perlick 16-6 Coach Tom Bryan named Prep Team's "Coach of the Year." Hawken defeats US (85-84)! In the US game, Dwayne Maynard was in a jump ball in the closing seconds of the game. Knowing he could not win the tip, Maynard ran outside the circle, received the tip himself and passed to Jim Alemango for a game winning 15-ft jump shot. Dwayne Maynard also sets the school record with 17 assists in a game.
1974 Vic Schmelzer Thomas Bryan Vick Schmelzer, Rich Krejci 18-3 Vic Schmelzer sets the school record with 406 rebounds in a season and 911 rebounds in his career
1973 Fred Biehle Thomas Bryan Fred Biehle 15-7 In 3-on-3 Interteam championship play, the team of Andy Rayburn, Paul Salamone, and David White defeated Fred Biehle, Jim Hunter, and "the Pearl" 120-116 (Rayburn led all scorers with 54)
1972 Bob Riser Thomas Bryan Bob Riser, Mark Marcelletti 11-11 Bob Riser scores the most points in school history - 49 points in a game.
