Families with more than one child interested in applying should submit a separate online inquiry for each child. |

 Step 2: Campus Visit and Interview All students are required to have an interview and visit day as part of the application process. Visits and interviews are scheduled on most school days. Priority scheduling for visits in the weeks prior to the application deadline is for those applicants whose application forms have been received. Parents are an integral part of the admission visit and will have a campus tour and meeting with a member of the Admission Office. Please call 440-423-2955 for our upper school campus and 440-423-2950 for our lower and middle school campus. |

 Step 3: Complete the Application There are three ways to complete an application to Hawken School:
- Complete the paper application form included in your admission inquiry packet. (If you have not already received Hawken’s materials, please click here to request a packet.)
- Obtain the application forms by downloading the PDF versions in the box on the left.

 Step 4: Testing Applicants to Hawken Lower School will be administered age-appropriate standardized tests and evaluations as part of the admission process.
The Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) is required for all students applying to grades 4 through 12. Applicants may register online for the test at www.erbtest.org. Please note that the deadline to register for the ISEE is three weeks prior to testing dates. The test administration fee is $98. For students entering grades 11 and 12, the PSAT or SAT I is acceptable, if taken in the current school year. |
