Grades 1 - 3
Students applying for Grades 1-3 will be administered math and reading assessments as part of their individual visit days. Please call the Lyndhurst Admission Office at 440-423-2950 to schedule an appointment.

Grade 4Applicants to Grade 4 will take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE), which is a computer-based test administered on Saturdays throughout the year.
To register for the 4th grade ISEE, please call the Lower School Admission Office at 440-423-2950 at least two weeks prior to the test date. An online registration link for the Hawken ISEE dates will then be emailed to you. Information about the ISEE may be found here. ISEE Testing for Grades 4 will take place at Hawken on the following dates:

Grades 5 - 12The Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) is required for all students applying to Grades 5-12 and is offered on our campuses on the following dates. (Students applying for Grades 5-8 will test at our Lyndhurst Campus; Students applying for Grades 9-12 will test at our Gates Mills Campus.) Students may register for the ISEE online at www.erbtest.org. ISEE Testing for Grades 4-12 will take place at Hawken on the following dates:
