Hawken Prepares Students for the Real World Through the Development of Character and Intellect

Early Childhood: PS-PK
Housed in a state of the art facility, Hawken's nationally recognized Early Childhood program celebrates the joyful nature of young children. Students learn through in-depth exploration and discovery that incorporates social and emotional goals, as well as those in language development, science inquiry, math awareness, and the creative arts. Lower School: K-5
The Lower School's rich, well-rounded curriculum focuses on building core academic skills. The program is complemented by the recent completion of Hurwitz Hall, with renovations to 2nd and 3rd grade areas, the addition of a fourth performing arts classroom, and two new science labs. Read more here.
Middle School: 6-8
The Middle School's innovative block schedule builds on the Lower School's strong academic foundation. This schedule allows for greater depth in content and skill development, and experiential and service learning. Read more here.
Upper School: 9-12
Academic excellence is a the core of the Upper School curriculum which offers 33 Honors and Advanced Placement classes, as well as additional advanced courses such as Multivariable Calculus, Shakespeare, Principles of Engineering, and 20th Century Genocide. Read more here.
